During this Covid 19 Pandemic:

The BraeBurn Inn of Fort Qu’Appelle has remained open to essential services travellers throughout the pandemic to ensure services continue in our community.

We are open to all visitors (same household only in the same room), but we have blocked on-line bookings because we are “resting” our rooms between customers for 24-hours before and after each use. So to book a room you will have to phone 306-332-5757 ext. 0 during regular office hours 11:30 am to 11 pm on weekdays and 1:30 pm to 11 pm on weekends. Leave your phone number and how many beds and rooms you are looking for if we are not available and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Our RV Park is open too from May 1 to Sept. 30 but only to Saskatchewan residents and only for seasonal users. See Our RV Park for more on that.

While this pandemic continues, some of our common areas remain closed including the seating areas outside the rooms (room occupants only), our horseshoe and volleyball courts and RV Park bathrooms. Our exercise room and central barbecue/picnic deck are open for use by motel guests only and RV Park residents, but must be booked to allow us to clean between uses. Only current gathering numbers are allowed on the barbecue deck. Only one person at a time in the  Exercise Room.  Covid 2-meter distancing and masking rules still apply everywhere on our property. If you’re feeling ill—stay home.

In addition, our staff are not expected to go into your rooms to do make-ups (you can make up your own beds for now–or not), but we will supply you with replacement towels or extra room amenities as and when you request them. Just let us know what you need during regular office hours. See Our Rules for more on special pandemic restrictions in effect.

As for ‘unnecessary’ travel, we support the federal and provincial governments’ request to encourage the public to stay home and self-isolate as much as possible. Please limit your travel and continue to practice social distancing. It’s not over yet, although we are getting closer.

Stay well. Thank you for your patience. This too will pass.

Once again, Welcome!

Rooms at the BraeBurn come with all the comforts of home. Although each room has a unique decorative theme (see Our Rooms section), all are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker, colour television with satellite, telephone, free wireless high-speed internet access, alarm clock/radio, ensuite bathroom and central geothermal air and heat. Each also includes a fan and electric fireplace for your comfort, and iron and ironing boards for your convenience.

The four singles have one king-size bed in each. The five large rooms are equipped with small kitchenettes. These large rooms include four with two queen-size beds in each, and one with two XL double-size beds. All are non-smoking rooms, no pets allowed.

In addition, the motel features a year-round Exercise Room (next to our RV Bathroom facility) and a common natural gas BBQ for the use of guests of the BraeBurn Inn. Bring soft-soled exercise shoes! On the grounds we also have an outdoor horseshoe court with two lanes and a sand volleyball court, both available for summertime use.

NOTE:  We normally have a 48-hour cancellation policy but will allow you to cancel or reschedule without penalty if you are feeling ill due to the Covid-19 pandemic (please do stay home and get tested). Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel because we set aside our rooms for 24-hours before as well as after each booking. We still require a valid credit card number if you are booking a room or site to guarantee against any damage to the room or site. Our RV sites are only available for the Season (telephone 306-332-5757 ext. 0 afternoons or evenings to inquire).

If you’d like to book a room with us you may view our
Availability Calendar  or enter your booking dates to see what rooms are available under Book Now.
Sorry. On-line booking disabled for now. Please phone us afternoons or evenings at 306-332-5757 ext. 0, or contact us via e-mail for now

Our RV Park
Our small seasonal RV Park and the rules which apply there.
As per our provincial guidelines, because we supply sewer and water to our sites, our RV Park is allowed to open for our normal season from May 1 to Sept. 30. Some of our common areas remain closed including our horseshoe and volleyball courts and RV Park bathrooms. Our exercise room and central barbecue/picnic deck are now open for use by motel guests and RV Park residents, but must be booked.  Covid 2-meter distancing and masking rules still apply with households and “bubbled” folks only in each RV site–in other words no social visitors for now–in support of the federal and provincial governments’ requests encouraging people to continue to social distance, stay at home and to limit unnecessary travel.
